SDES is the one and only Electrical Calibration Laboratory which is approved by National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
Calibration Services in Electro-Technical department includes the following:
Current Transformer/Potential Transformer/CVT
For consumers metering CT/PT should have good accuracy for this is SDES provides calibration services for Current Transformer up to 2000Amps and Potential Transformers up to 33kV at site as well as permanent lab.
AC Power/Energy Meter
Various utilities and Private companies need periodic calibration of energy meter and correct accounting of energy meters. Our teams, equipped with reference meter, can test meter at customer premises and hand over NABL calibration certificate on the spot.
AC Power Energy Reference
Periodic calibration for various reference standards is essential for quality assurance and reliability. SDES offers comprehensive calibration services at its permanent lab as well as on-site for various AC power, energy measurement and calibration equipment. Traceability of reference equipment is maintained by National and International accredited laboratories.
SDES calibration services also includes
- Calibration of 132kV PT.
- Calibration of High Voltage Equipment’s up to 90kV AC ( i.e. High Voltage Dividers, High Voltage Testers)
- Calibration of CT Burdens and PT Burdens (At 50Hz & 60Hz Frequency).
- Calibration of Capacitance and Tan Delta Test Sets.
- Calibration of Meggers and Winding Resistance Meters.
